The Foothills Bicycle club is a loose association of active senior cyclists who spend the winter season in the Yuma Foothills area. From October through April each winter season we have four scheduled rides per week--on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The following resources are also available for additional information about cycling in and around Yuma:
The Sunday and Tuesday rides start from the Foothills Library, and are shorter and at a relaxed social pace (average 12-13 mph, 20-25 miles in length). On Thursday and Saturday the rides are usually at a higher pace (13-17 mph) and are longer distance (35-45 miles). These rides start at Los Amigos/Southern Sands community.
The scheduled ride on the first Saturday of each month is a Century, meaning a ride of either 100 miles or 100 km--routes and starting times will vary based on the weather or the month.
The club's monthly ride calendar appears below. If you have any additional questions regarding the club and its scheduled rides please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
